Food Approved Greases

IKV Lubricants are manufacturers of a full range of food grade lubricants, all having NSF H1 (incidental food contact), H2 (for use below the foodline) and NSF 3H (for direct food contact).

Lubricants for use within food processing & manufacturing the products must be totally non-toxic and satisfy the regulations for non-food compounds used in food manufacturing plants.

These strict guidelines mean products are selected based upon their use/classification with either incidental food contact USDA H1 (now NSF H1 class) or H2 Class (without risk of food contact).

These products must perform well as lubricants, often extreme high or low temperatures or aggressive cleaning processes are encountered, all of which can adversely affect the life of the lubricant.

In bakery applications the ovens can reach temperatures in excess of 300C. Conveying components and chain bearings operating in these conditions can often require frequent re-lubrication or cleaning to remove unwanted lubricant residue build up.

We can supply everything from hydraulic, gearbox and general lubricating oils to food grade greases for extremes of temperature from –73°C to 300°C. We also have a range of biodegradable products should this be required.

Using the correct lubricant in any given application can reduce costs, increase productivity and reduce costly failures whilst also reducing the overall environmental impact.

These products are also available in various forms and packaging including applicators to allow you to apply in hard-to-reach areas – we offer coatings, fluids and greases in precision oilers, syringes, sprays, bottles and Dabomatic® applicator bottles.

IKV TRIBOSIL VH-1 – Food approved silicone grease with excellent thermal capacity and water resistance.

IKV TRIBOFOOD PAK 222 – Load resistant, adherent grease with excellent water resistance.

IKV TRIBOFOOD PAK 151/2 – White, food grade grease with high performance at high temperatures and high loads.

IKV TRIBOFOOD PAK 152/3 – White grease with high performance at high temperatures and high loads. Ideal for overloaded bearings.

IKV TRIBOFOOD SSI 1203 TF – Silicone based white grease with no drop point & excellent lubrication properties.

IKV TRIBOFOOD MAK 10 – Load resistant white grease with excellent water resistance. Ideal as a food approved bearing lubricant.

Our NSF 3-H food approved grease is:

IKV FOOD GLIDE 3-H GREASE – High performance inorganic grease without drop point. Ideal for the lubrication of bearings. It has excellent EP properties and solid lubricants to increase the load carrying and wear resistance of the product and elongate component life.  It is manufactured with a high temperature resistance and has a natural tacky nature ensuring complete protection against corrosion, water, humidity and water wash down. This makes it ideal for protecting blades and cutters from corrosion when not in use.
