Oxygen reacts with conventional lubricants including mineral & other synthetic oils & greases and this greatly increases the potential for explosion or fire.

IKV has a full range of fluorinated lubricants including fluids, greases and dispersions which can be used to lubricate the components such as O rings, fittings, valves and regulators in oxygen service and high pressure air systems. ZAROX and FLUOR Lubricants are based upon purfluorinated technology, they do not contain hydrogen and cannot support combustion.

This wide line of products provides excellent lubrication at both low and high temperature extremes, resulting in increased durability. They can be safely used with confidence in high pressure air, Nitrous oxide & pure gaseous and liquid oxygen (LOX) systems with no fear of combustion.

They are also completely compatible with all synthetic and natural rubbers, o rings, metals and plastics.

Using an incompatible lubricant with some rubbers and plastics can cause massive swelling, material deterioration & deformation, stress cracking and failure of the component.

ZAROX TYN 142 is a special fluorinated grease. This high performance grease which is based upon a mid range viscosity perfluoropolyether (PFPE) fluid is non-flammable, white and odourless whilst offering excellent frictional and lubrication properties.

ZAROX TYN 142 is totally inert both physically and chemically and is totally resistant to all common solvents, chemicals and water. This grease is extremely thermally stable and has a very wide operating temperature range. It is universally compatible with elastomers and plastics. ZAROX greases are totally compatible with oxygen, chlorine and many other aggressive chemicals and gases.

ZAROX TYN 142 is suitable for the lubrication of all mechanisms subjected to aggressive or corrosive conditions, high or low temperatures. It is also suitable for the lubrication of all plastic and rubber components due to its universal material compatibility and is ideal as a durable ‘anti-squeak’ grease for Automotive applications.

ZAROX TYN 142 is also ideal for use within the electrical industry where a thin application of a lubricating grease is required, it can be applied to electrical contacts and connectors to enhance their performance.

ZAROX TYN 142 can be applied easily either manually or by automatic dispensing equipment.

Temperature Range: -40 to 200°C.
